People should buy things made by their own country, even if they are more expensive than in other countries.
With the developments of modern society, globalization keeps various countries much more tightly than before. At this time, the same type of products can be manufactured by different countries. Some people claim that people should buy things made by their own country, even if things of other countries may cost less. Nevertheless, I oppose to the above statement.
The first reason I want to put forward is that in most of time, when it comes to buying things, the priority popping in people’s minds are not the manufacturer but the quality. The quality is the basic element of products, which attracts consumers considerably.
Life abounds with such examples. According to a survey from English researchers, they investigated what factors influenced consumers most when buying things. The
results showed that when people went to the stores, facing with the same type of products made in different countries, they would consider the quality as the first thing
to decide their choices. This survey illustrates that it is quality that has great influences on consumers. In sum, in general, people would like to choose the products which are more beneficial in quality.
Furthermore, another essential reason I am trying to convey is that besides quality,
the price is also significant for buyers when they decide which to buy since people
always find products with suitable price. If the price of a product is too high, people
would think that the product may not worth that high price and thus, they are unlikely
to buy it. Life abounds with such example. When I went to the stores and wanted to
buy a pair of shoes. With the similar design and qualities, I always bought the cheaper
one. This example demonstrates that with the same quality, people are willing to buy
products with suitable price. In a nutshell, quality also contributes to the choices
people make when buying things.
All in all, I believe that when buying things, people concern more about the quality
and price of the product.
