摘要：A polyester composition comprising at least one polyester selected from thegroup consisting of poly(trimethylene terephthalate), polyethylene terephthalate,polybutylene terephthalate, and copolymers thereof; and at least one poly alpha-1,3-glucan ester having a degree of substitution of from about 0.3 to 3 moles of at least oneacyl group per repeat unit of poly alpha-1,3-glucan. Articles prepared from thesepolyester compositions exhibit at least one improved physical property such as heatdeflection temperature, tensile strength, Young's modulus, or impact strength. Suchpolyester compositions may also be prepared from renewable resources.
