At present, piracy is becoming unprecedentedly visible in China. Any products, like tapes, CDs and hi-tech devices, can be copied, not to mention books. Shortly after a newly-published book hits the shelves, people will unsurprisingly find its pirated counterparts in the stores.

It has been widely believed that piracy has caused a great loss to legitimate producers, inventors and authors in many ways. To start with, pirated products often cost much less than the original ones, so they enjoy unbeatable advantage in price in spite of their relatively poor quality. The original ones, on the contrary, sell badly. As far as pirated books are concerned, they do great' harm to the authors' reputation due to their misprints. In the long run, pirated products may also have a negative impact on customers since those legitimate producers' enthusiasm may be greatly hurt by the fact that some customers are more inclined to purchase pirated products.

In my opinion, it's high time that the government called on everyone to start the battle against piracy. Besides, as customers, we should develop our consciousness to resist pirated products. And laws should be strictly carried out to ban piracy from spreading any further. Only in this way can we put an end to piracy and create a healthy environment for both customers and producers. There are many advantages of keeping pets. The first one is that pets can make fun for their owners. As you see, many elders always go for a walk with their pets like dogs or cats in the mornings. Also, this is a kind of exercise for elders to keep healthy and be relaxed. Walking with pets and playing with them can make elders happy, too. Happiness is really good for the old. That’s why a lot of people buy pets for their old parents.

But the people who don’t keep pets always complain about that the pets whose owners live in the same area as they live usually make them scared and annoyed. Dogs and cats don’t have smart minds like humans’ so they always annoy people by their sounds. Some ill people need a quiet environment to get well, but pets don’t know that. For example, what do you feel if a lot of dogs bark loudly while you are sleeping? Sometimes the pets hurt the people who want to be close to them, too. That’s also a disadvantage of keeping pets.

Keeping pets is a personal habit, but you can’t annoy others by your habit. If you keep your pets without annoying people, you are great. But if you don’t, don’t do that any longer. That will make your neighbors dislike you。

On the other hand ,some people think the teenagers study abroad is not good . Firstly, the fee is so expensi

ve , many families can not afford it. Secondly,many teenagers can not adjust to the life style overseas. It maybe can cause some questions which is bad for teenagers .

As the saying goes,every coin has two sides, no one can say who is wrong .Personally, I think the teenagers go abroad for studying is good for us.Because different education style have different advantages, we had been educated by Chinese education for long time, if we can study abroad , it must be a different experience.

My View on the Negative Effects of Some Advertisements

Advertisement can be found everywhere in this competitive world. Wherever you go, you can see large billboards in the streets. Whenever you turn on your TV or radio, you can see or hear advertisements once in a while. Most of these advertisements are of great help to consumers. Some of them, however, are misleading and, therefore, harmful to consumers.

In order to make more profit, some manufacturers, not acting in accordance with the social norms, produce false advertisements. These advertisements may say that it is worth the money to buy their products and may boast that their products are the best among the products of the same kind. But when the consumers are attracted and buy the products, they will eventually find that they are cheated and fooled, causing great loss in the consumers’ property.

I strongly oppose advertisements of this kind. I propose that all manufacturers be honest in whatever they do and say. I also suggest that some laws be passed quickly to regulate the making of advertisements. (5)跳槽

My views on job-hopping

Recent years has witnessed a unfavorable social phenomenon that more and more employers like to change their jobs frequently ，we called these people job-hopper.

There are many facters accounting for this trend,perhaps some of them don`t like the working environment,some of others want to get a higher pay,so they finally choosed job-hopping.

In my point of wiew ,every coin has its two sides,job-hopping also has its advantages and disadvantages.On one hand,job-hopping may give a new feeling to job-hoppers,they will turn a fresh attitude to the new job,and then they will concentrate on their resent positions to contribute more to the firm.On the other hand,different experiences makes life more marvelous,so job-hopping may give the job-hoppers different and unforgettable feelings of real life.

On the contrary ,it is quite uneasy for us to make a harmony and stable company.It is so bad a feeling for the manager when the key worker decided to live and to find same position in other company.That is a great loss for the talent reserve.

Five years later, in the year of 2000, the number increased greatly to 40,000. Another five years later, in 2005, the number dramatically tripled, reaching a surprising peak of more than 120,000. We can see clearly more and more people traveling abroad in the last ten years.

One reason for this drastic increase can be attributed to the booming of Chinese economy in these years, which has significantly raised the income of the people. With more savings in their bank accounts, people no longer regard traveling abroad as a luxury which they could hardly afford before. This may also be due to the rapid development in the social culture in China, which have greatly broaded the horizons of the Chinese people and have made them more interested in the outside world. Indeed, few people now can resist the temptation of the sunlight in Thailand, the mysteries in Egypt and the beaches in Australia.

This rapid development in traveling abroad is very rewarding. More Chinese tourists traveling abroad will surely promote China's economic and cultural exchange with other countries. And also, with increased contacts, there will be better mutual understanding between people of these countries. But the greatest benefit travel brings about is that it has greatly improved the quality of cultural life of the Chinese people.
