About Weight-losing

Nowadays weight-losing has become popular among young and middle-aged women.

In order to make themselves pretty-looking, they try many different ways of

losing weight. Some go on a diet, some take exercise,some eat medicine ,others

even turn to operation for help. As a result,a lot of products have come into

being,such as special medicines, tea and equipment. They are used in different

ways and work differently, but some have side effects.

In my opinion, it‘s understandable that women seek beauty, but they should do

it in a proper way. Taking exercise is the way that I most favor. But the other

methods are likely to do harm to people‘s health more or less.

Do you know what is the lifetime career for a woman? Well, I won’t doubt who

will know the answer better than you girls. Yes, absolutely it’s keeping

slim!

As summer is approaching, it’s time for us to shed some pounds before hitting

the beach. The question is how to lose weight easily without suffering hungry or

the tiredness of sports.

The good news came that consistently getting a good night’s sleep may be one

of the answers according to some new researches. You may wonder what’s the

connection between sleep and the number on the scale. Well, I will elaborate on

it in two aspects.

First, getting a good night’s sleep can prevent overeating and help curb

obesity because sleep deprivation spikes the hormone ghrelin, which stimulates

your appetite. Research published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition

shows that people who sleep only about 5.5 hours per night take in significantly

more calories from snacking throughout the day than those who are well-rested.

That adds up to a tremendous 30 pounds a year. And they are comapatively dislike

vegetables and crave carbohydrates and eat fewer proteins and fats,

which help people feel full.

Second, not getting enough sleep might severely cut into people’s ability to

lose extra fat, as the amount of the hormone, leptin that related to energy

expenditure will sharply decrease without enough sleep. Researchers found that

if dieters got a full night’s rest, they lost more than twice the amount of

weight from fat reserves. Tired-eyed dieters also reported feeling hungrier than

they did when they had gotten enough sleep.

So despite any extra calories a person might burn while staying up, losing

sleep is hardly the best way to lose fat. If your goal is to lose fat, skipping

sleep is like poking sticks in your bicycle wheels.

In a word, it’s better for girls to make sleep a priority and get a beauty

rest. Remember never to sacrifice your precious sleeping time next time you are

indulging in some soap operas or talking on the phone, unless you want a larger

number on the scale.

Losing Weight

During the Spring Festival, I ate delicious meal almost every day, so that my

weight gained a lot and my body looked fatter. When I came back to school in the

new term, all myclassmates are so surprised to see my huge body and round face.

I finally realized that I must lose weight. And then I made a plan. To begin

with, I must eat less for breakfast and supper than before. At breakfast, I

drink milk and have a piece of bread and an egg. I have a bowl of soup and some

fruits for dinner. I do not eat sugar anymore, because it will make me fatter.

Besides, I keep doing exercises everyday. I go to running after school or play

basketball with my classmates. At weekend, I often go to swim. After a month of

hard work, I lost five kilograms, but its not enough. I still have to stick to

my plan and lose more weight to an appropriate number.

against obesity, different people have different views. some people think we

could eat less so that we will absorb less, while the rest of them argue that we

The reasons can be listed as follows. firstly, obesity comes form our

unhealthy eating habit like eat too much high-energy food, which leads to the

accumulation of fat in our body. so, the first step to lose weight is to keep a

good habit of eating healthily, and learn to control your mouth, keep yourself

away from the high-energy food. secondly, with most of us engaging in stationary

work, we are deprived of the chances to exercise, which also contributes a lot

of overweight. we could get up half an hour early in the morning, and do some

exercise, and also do some simple sport during the break time in the

workplace.

In a word, a good habit is necessary if we want to have a good figure. i

believe that after forming a good eating habit and exercising regularly, we can

reach our goal of losing weight with our perseverance. only when we keep on

doing healthy diet and exercising, can we keep a good figure and keep fit.

weight you must start in your mind.You must make a decision to change.You must

dig deep down and decide youll do it.

Be very determined to work hard.Be disciplined enough to commit.You must

promise yourself not a quit.

Write down the reasons you want to lose weight.Write down the goals you want

to achieve.Truly convince yourself that you have the power to change.

We all know that dieting is the answer.We know we are what we eat.To lose

weight we must alter our diet.

Eat a low-fat,well-balanced diet.Eat lots of lean meat,fruit and raw

vegetables.Most importantly,drink eight large glasses of water every day.

Also,downsize your portions.Never snack late at night.Never skip meals or

starve yourself! Also,you must exercise to lose weight.Exercise goes hand in

hand with dieting.Exercise builds muscle that burns off calories and fat.

Work out five times a week for thirty minutes.Work out intensively with

interval training.Work out in the morning on an empty stomach for the best

results.

Do aerobics,like speed walking on one day.Do anaerobics,like weight

lifting,the next.Remember,dont eat anything for one hour afterwards.

It is important to remember to be patient.It takes time to lose weight.Its

not a race but a process of growth.

Focus on progress,not perfection.Focus on quality,not quantity.Try to be

Dont let friends or family distract you.Dont listen to well-intentioned but

incorrect advice.Just follow my plan to succeed.
