He thought moneyis the only thing makes loveeverlasting (permanent). It’shis wealth and her Fiancée’s frenzy about consumption firmed their marriage. I really can’t support him.

A: Yes. Money orlove, the meaning about the both has changed a lot with the time passing by.In the early time, love was more important for most people, while the balance of the two may be stressed a lot to money for a growing number of people now.But it doesn’t represent the majority. The heated discussionamong our society about Ma Nuo’s words shows that most people are against her view. And what’s your attitude towards Money or Love?

B: As an 80 after, I can partially understand the changing balance of money and love.Unlike our parents, the 80-after generation is coming from the era of exploding wealth and rising expectations for material success which was not so important for the generation of the 1960s or 1970s.Most people born after 1980s are the sole children in their families. They are likely to be self-centered and intolerant. So their minds changed.Do you think so?

A: I can’t agree more! We do not blame those who emphasize wealth,as the whole society is facing a big change today. But too much emphasize on money can’t go too far. How can people get a long happy life with only material but no spiritual thing? No doubt money is very

important for our lives, but love is the essential of our happy life.
