第一课时的学习,围绕单元话题past events,让学生的知识得到了扩展,学会了“had +动词过去分词形式〞表示过去完成时态的常见方法,丰富了过去事件话题下的语言输入内容,学习了描绘过去意想不到的事件,为本节课的阅读理解和表达积累了语言根底。 2.3 Class data本班实际

本班学生有比拟明确的学习目的,可以在小组活动中互相帮助,积极与别人合作,敢于用英语进展表达。本课时的阅读文段Life is full of the unexpected话题内容有点新颖,但是局部词汇,如be about to, in disbelief, turn into和个别句型的构造较为复杂,学生理解上应该有一定的难度。老师可结合课堂实际情况,指导鼓励学生小组学习,讨论认知新的复杂的语言构造,扫清阅读障碍。

Guide Ss to look at the title and the picture going with it only and make a prediction before reading.

Guide Ss to scan the reading passage and answer the questions in 3a. Then T can get them to have a discussion in groups.

Get Ss to listen to the recording and read along with it at the same time. While reading, let’s pay enough attention to the pauses, the pronunciation and the intonation of the native speaker.

Guide Ss to write out some key words for each paragraph in order to help memorize the details. For example,

decide及物动词,意为“决定,决心〞,常用构造有:decide sth. 决定某事;decide to do sth.决定做某事;decide +that 从句 决定…

本句为感慨句,句子的构造为:What 〔+a/an〕+ 形容词+名词 〔+主语+ 谓语〕!

how也可以引导感慨句,句子构造为:How + 形容词/副词〔+主语+ 谓语〕! till the next day. 别的飞机也满员了,因此我不得不等到第二天。
